What is included in the event package?
Our event packages include all necessary art materials (canvases, paints, brushes, easels, aprons, etc.), professional and engaging art facilitators, setup and cleanup, and a fun, guided painting experience tailored to your company. Please note: Travel within 10km of our base is included; additional travel costs may apply. This ensures a seamless and stress-free event for your team.
How long does a typical event last?
Most of our painting events are designed to last 2-3 hours, allowing ample time for creativity and fun. However, we understand the demands of corporate schedules. For our corporate clients, we also offer shorter, focused sessions (e.g., 45 minutes to 1 hour) that can easily fit between meetings or as part of a larger conference agenda.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely! As a mobile business, Phuza & Paint focuses solely on providing the best painting experience. We do not offer catering services, so you are more than welcome to organise your own food and beverages to enjoy during your event.
Is there a minimum number of participants required when booking?
Yes, we require a minimum of 10 people for a standard booking, or the equivalent amount of R3500. There is no maximum number of participants; we can cater to large groups and have successfully hosted corporate events for hundreds. The more, the merrier!
Do we get to keep the artwork created during the event?
Yes, certainly! Every participant gets to keep their masterpiece as a tangible memory of their creative experience. It's a fantastic takeaway that reinforces the fun and collaborative spirit of any event.
Where is Phuza and Paint, and how far do you travel?
Phuza and Paint is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, but our artists are truly mobile! We have successfully hosted corporate and private painting events all over South Africa and we are happy to travel nationwide to your venue to create a memorable experience for you and your team. Please note: Travel costs will apply for events outside of our local area.
Does Phuza and Paint have a venue?
No, Phuza & Paint is a fully mobile business, bringing the art studio experience directly to you! We will travel to your office, conference venue, restaurant, or any chosen location to set up. While we don't have our own venue, we do have strong partnerships with several fantastic venues across Johannesburg and can provide recommendations if you need a space for your event.
Do you host private events in addition to corporate bookings?
While we specialise in corporate events and team building, Phuza and Paint also happily hosts private celebrations. We are perfect for birthday parties, bachelor(ettes)s, and other special occasions. Contact us for a personalised quote and we can assist you in planning your event.
Can you customise the painting theme or artwork for our event?
Absolutely! We offer significant flexibility to customise the painting theme or artwork to align with your company's brand, event theme, or specific objectives. Whether it's a new product launch, a company value, a creative briefing, or a specific corporate message, our artists can design a unique piece for your activity.
How far in advance should we book our event?
We recommend booking your corporate painting event as far in advance as possible, especially for peak seasons (e.g., year-end functions). To ensure availability and adequate planning time, we suggest booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance. However, feel free to contact us for last-minute availability – we'll always do our best to accommodate!
